The Bucket List
A few months ago we received a couple of movie passes. It was a really nice gift as The Man of the House and I are too thrifty to go to movies. “We’ll just wait for the DVD.” Even then we don’t rent it, we get it for free from the library.
But here was a chance to go to an honest-to-goodness movie theater. I went to a movie when I was visiting friends in Idaho. But I can’t remember when TMOTH and I last went to a movie together. I know that we saw Mel Gibson in “Signs” at the drive-in. That must have been 2002. So it’s been awhile!
We studied the listings carefully and finally decided on “The Bucket List“. We were torn because the professional movie reviewers seemed to dislike the movie while regular folk seemed to like it a lot.
It might have been predictable, but with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman I didn’t notice. What I did see was great acting, some wonderful travel scenes and a touching story.
Count The Man of The House and I in with the rest of the regular folks that really liked the film!
