Pineapple Smoothies Beat the Heat
During our recent hot spell, when the temperature reached an uncomfortable 96 degrees, we cooled off with Pineapple Smoothies.
Pineapple Smoothies
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup cottage cheese
- 3/4 cup frozen pineapple (we took canned pineapple and put it in the freezer earlier in the day)
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon slivered almonds
- 4 ice cubes
Put everything into the blender and blend away. (It’ll take about 30 seconds) This made enough for two large glasses.
Variations
Use different fruit combined with different flavors of yogurt to make other smoothie flavors
