Last Thanksgiving Mom and Dad gave us some walking onion sets. The Man of the House planted half of them in the fall and half in the spring. These photos were taken about a month ago.

Here are the ones planted in the spring. The Man of the House planted them in “the pit”. The pit is a planting area about 10 feet long by 4 feet wide. We dug down about four feet and took everything out. Then we removed the rocks (there were LOADS of rocks), sifted the soil, added natural fertilizer and put everything back.
